Breakfast briefings
Our monthly morning sharings from inspiring speakers across the cultural sector and beyond.
Once a month (ish) we host a 9am Breakfast Briefing. We invite a speaker to chat to us and our guests (friends, colleagues and clients) via Zoom.
They are a great way to facilitate conversations, to make introductions and to share inspiration and learning from people we respect and admire.
We’ve hosted: politicians, marketeers, technologists, artists, curators, makers and many more. We usually invite guests to speak for around 30 minutes and then we follow-up with a quick Q&A.
We deliberately don’t record these sessions so everyone can feel free to speak openly. So if you want to hear from these brilliant people you need to be on the Zoom link.
Email us if you’d like us to add you to the invite list.

Pre-pandemic Breakfast Briefings

Prior to the 2020 lock-down, our Breakfast Briefings had been physical gatherings in the Cog studio, with croissants and fruit juice. We used these for internal briefings (as a great way to build confidence and share knowledge) and we occasionally brought in external guest speakers. One of our favourites was with the wonderful Eleni Beveratou, Creative Director at the type studio, Dalton Maag, in June 2019.
In early 2020 we’d already started moving some of these sessions online. We had some great calls with wonderful people, and they inspired us to start widening our audience and inviting friends, extra colleagues and clients.
