Dolly Parton made an appearance in the studio today, in the form of the front cover of our latest issue of Spotlight, The Marlowe Theatre’s membership magazine.

Chocolate Quest at Kew Gardens is now in full swing. Great to see our tasty-looking poster up on the Underground.

This is Annelise, she joined the Cog team this week and already feels very much part of the team.

In the excitement of last week’s Easter Egg Hunt, Michael forgot to give us these knitted gifts, we don’t think he knitted them himself.

Jon’s busy checking proofs for a folder we’ve designed for the Commonwealth Foundation.

We’ve had a meeting with Alastair Tallon, Nigel Hinds and Claire Hutchinson today. Neil and Simon Turner from NTD joined via video link.

Natalie from the DBA has been in to the studio today, chatting with Michael and Annelise about design and things.

Today was a 7hr session with Graham from Cast, talking websites and brochures for their launch season. Joining us were Michael and Brian from Tincan.

Ocky’s at Kew Gardens today. Our designs for their Chocolate Quest event looks great on the flag banners and in print.

We’ve created the branding for the Family Arts campaign, which aims to increase levels of arts engagement by families. Today saw the successful launch of the website familyarts.co.uk

Mike’s been looking at paper samples today for a project we are working on for Arts Council England.

We’ve just received file copies of a folder we designed for the Commonwealth Foundation, it’s great to see the branding rolled out in so many formats.

We’ve picked a copy of the The Marlowe Theatre’s summer season brochure which we’ve designed. Annelise is having a flick through before work begins on the autumn brochure next week.

Elke is back with us for the next 4 weeks, as always, it’s great to have her back in the studio.

Mike and Michael take a moment to admire the Cultural Olympiad brochures we’ve just produced for the Arts Council.

Another trip to the Charles Dickens Museum today to talk about more exciting work, and a delicious coffee made by Museum Director Florian Schweizer, no less.

In the best theatrical traditions, Michael and Ocky have been for a long boozy lunch with people from SOLT/TMA, Equity, The Stage and Tincan. It was thank you treat for our work on the My Theatre Matters campaign.

Today we went for our monthly Cog lunch at the Royal Observatory’s Astronomy Café. We were inspired to strike a pose next to the Yuri Gagarin statue.

Michael spent the morning at the Jason Bruges Studio. Richard and Molly were recommissioning a prototype of the 21st Century Light Space Modulator in their showroom.

Jon’s been experimenting today with some ideas he has for video content to go on our website.
