Matt, Becca and Sæunn went to Graeae’s London 2012 Paralympics panel event at the National Theatre. The discussion centred around the 2012 opening ceremony, Spasticus Autisticus, its impact and what the future might hold.

We sent out our first monthly Cog Cultural Calendar today where we share some highlights, reviews and recommendations of cultural events. Melissa took some time out of her day to properly enjoy this great new read.

Sæunn won tickets to see The Truth at Wyndham’s Theatre and therefore gets an honorable mention in The Stage.

We’ve made it into Design Week’s Top 100 agencies. Michael is delighted.

Who goes there? A Magicarp has infiltrated the studio… Melissa’s not sure what to think, the Magicarp looks less than pleased, and no one has consulted our goldfish yet. Things get a little blurry when the doors to the virtual world are flung open.

Michael’s in Hammersmith for a first meeting with new clients, Lyric. Catrin John gave him a tour of their amazing new building. And they couldn’t resist having a quick walk through the stunning main auditorium.

The Great British Bake Off is starting this week and, coincidentally, so is The Great Cog Bake Off! We’re prepping by drawing weeks out of a pencil holder. Stay tuned for the deliciousness to come.

For our August Cog Night we’re off to see Stuart Bowden’s ‘Wilting in Reverse’ at Soho Theatre:  “vigorous dance moves, understandable words and a fair bit of profound (probably life-changing) body movement”.

Today we had an “emoji design workshop” inspired by Arts Council England’s #70things challenge. So we drew funny faces. And made them. Here’s Sæunn with her creation… We all felt a bit like this as it was also the hottest day of the year.
